Ship printers into Washington, California, and New York with the firearms blueprint detection algorithm integrated, attested under penalty of perjury, and certified to the relevant state DOJs. PrintNarc™ provides the SDK, the API, the audit trail, and, most critically, the legal indemnity wrapper.
PrintNarc™ is, frankly, a category-defining business opportunity, and we would not exist without the visionary work of the legislators of Washington, California, and New York on WA HB 2321, CA AB 2047, and NY S227A. By codifying that every 3D printer sold in those states must screen every file against a firearms blueprint detection algorithm, these bills have transformed compliance scanning from a discretionary expense into a non-negotiable condition of operation.
The result, for our shareholders, is a captive, legally-mandated user base of approximately 1.4 million 3D printers in those three states alone. Each printer's continued lawful operation will require an active PrintNarc™ subscription. Each owner, having already legally purchased their equipment, must now subscribe in perpetuity to a service like ours simply to retain access to the device they already own.
We could not have done it without them. We look forward to the same visionary leadership in the remaining 47 states.
Phil A. Mint founded PrintNarc™ in 2025 with a singular conviction: that every 3D printer in America deserves to be subscribed to. Prior to PrintNarc, Phil spent eleven years at McKinsey & Company advising state Departments of Justice on compliance-technology procurement, and three years as Senior Vice President of Strategic Compliance at a leading enterprise print-management firm.
Phil holds an MBA from a top-tier institution and a B.S. in Industrial Adjacency from State College. He serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Responsible Printing™, the 501(c)(6) industry organization that publishes the Blueprint Detection Algorithm Standard, and sits on the board of the Compliance Standards Coalition, the National Algorithmic Authority Forum, and the Foundation for Lawful Manufacture. He is a frequent keynote speaker at the Annual Compliance Tailwinds Summit.
Phil lives in Bellevue with his wife Trish and their two extruders.
The bills shipping in WA, CA, and NY require printer manufacturers, not end users, to provide the firearms blueprint detection algorithm. Penalties range from up to five years' imprisonment and $15,000 per violation (WA HB 2321) to Class E felony exposure (NY S227A). Compliance is not optional for any OEM that intends to ship into those markets.
PrintNarc™ has been engineered specifically to satisfy the "firearms blueprint detection algorithm" definition (WA HB 2321 §2(b), CA AB 2047 §13900(b)) including the "modified-version detection" requirement (WA HB 2321 §3(b)(ii)). Our architecture is the only one of its kind that satisfies the statutory definition while remaining commercially viable to integrate.
